The Global Products Alliance Provides Education

and Training on the Use of LCAs and EPDs to Meet New Expectations and Requirements of Corporate, Educational and Government Purchasers in the U. S.


Members of the Alliance include: American LCA Center; AspiralLink; BNIM Architects; Carpet & Rug Institute; CB Richard Ellis; Earth Stone Products; FP Innovations; Green Seal; Herman Miller; Institute for Construction & the Environment (Germany); Interface Inc; Invista; Knoll; Malachite LLC; Shaw Industries Inc., Sto Corp; Tarkett; The Anka Funds; The Green Standard (USA), and Wilsonart.

The mission of the Alliance is to support manufacturers and purchasers in developing and using LCA-based Environmental Product Declarations (EPDs) to meet new expectations and requirements of corporate, educational and government purchasers in the U. S. and global markets.  

For example, Federal agencies must meet new requirements of Executive Order 13514 and publicly traded corporations must respond to new directives from the Securities and Exchanges Commission. These can be can be satisfied with LCA-based  Environmental Product Declarations

Benefits of membership in the Global Products Alliance include:
